We are well versed in using many different materials depending on the finish, effect and cost that you as our Customer wishes to achieve.

Our use of materials for roofing works varies widely, obviously depending on the type of works required & instructions or specifications given.

The materials we most commonly use are Redland & Marley concrete plain & 49 profile tiles, Clay plain tiles, Spanish slates & lead to form new roofs. For flat roofing, we frequently install single ply membranes such as Firestone & Repinol coverings, built up felt systems by Anderson & Iqopol & Asphalt by Permanite.

We have a direct importer of Spanish slates which after extensive research, we consider to be one of the very best slates in the industry. lightweight panel roof systems such as the ‘Decra roof tile’ can be installed where imposed weight loading is an issue & where low pitch is to be considered, suitable roof tiles such as Redlands Regent can be used. Insulation is now very important in the design of roof coverings & we are frequently asked to install Kingspan or Celotex warm roof insulation systems. We also install zinc & stainless steal roofing as cladding to architecturally important roofs, often in circumstances where lead is either deemed to heavy or prone to theft.
